India's northernmost point is disputed. The Karakoram Pass is the northernmost point under Indian control. India claims the entirety of Jammu and Kashmir, the northernmost point of which is the Kilik Pass. Pakistan disputes that any part of the state is sovereign Indian Territory, leaving Killar in Himachal Pradesh as the northernmost undisputed part of India.
